Learn more about the chef

... by Darlene

Darlene DeMesa has had a love for cooking for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Darlene has a particular passion for Spanish and Cuban cuisine, which can be noted in several of her current recipes. Later in life, Darlene moved to Woodstock, Georgia and continued to develop her culinary talents while raising her two beautiful twin girls, Dana and Sara.

In 2006, Darlene graduated from the Culinary Business Academy and started a one-woman operation called The Main Course personal chef service. Since, the Main Course has continued to grow and transform in the Woodstock-area and has been rebranded as Make My Dinners culinary service. Darlene has also served as a recipe and restaurant review columnist for the Woodstock and Canton Patch publications, showcasing her love for the community and her interest in all Woodstock has to offer in the culinary field.

When Darlene is not in the kitchen, she enjoys visiting the beach, exploring local restaurants, reading, and spending time with family and friends. If you are still considering whether or not Make My Dinners is a good fit for you, Darlene also loves meeting new people and would love to simply sit down and talk about more details of her services.
